The Bob Chandler Foundation was created to further the beliefs and principles of former college and professional player and sportscaster, Bob Chandler, and to serve as the memorial for those who continue to fight against cancer. Bob Chandler exemplified the highest standards of moral character, commitment to family values and dedication to athletic excellence. As such, the Foundation’s purpose is to:
- Encourage and support athletic talent and scholarship in young people
- Cultivate the development of character through athletic discipline
- Provide funds for cancer research and support for people affected by cancer
We are committed to achieving these goals in memory of Bob Chandler. Bob inspired others to strive for excellence and perseverance, not only in athletic endeavors but in all life pursuits, including his battle with cancer. The Bob Chandler Foundation supports the ongoing search for solutions.
Bob Chandler To Be Inducted Posthumously Into the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame
The Bob Chandler Foundation is proud to announce that the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame has named Bob as part of its class of 2023 inductees.
