by the example that Bob Chandler set both on and off
the playing field, the Foundation's goal is to create
a lasting legacy to Bob with the construction and improvement
of key sports and recreation facilities at Camp Ronald
McDonald for Good Times.

Bob's dream with cancer stricken children is a fitting
and lasting tribute to him, as he was an athlete who
accomplished more than was expected of him, battled
cancer with courage and grace, and truly believed that
all young people deserve a chance. The Foundation is
in the process of raising $500,000 for the facilities
in Bob's memory. As a result, thousands of youngsters
who are battling childhood cancer will have even greater
opportunities to have the same joyful summer camp experience
as other kids do.
