"I believe that winning is a by-product of pride, respect and character...that kind of winning is something you carry with you the rest of your life."

Bob Chandler
Bob2
The Bob Chandler Foundation was created to further the beliefs and principles of former college and professional player and sportscaster, Bob Chandler, and to serve as the memorial for those who continue to fight against cancer. Bob Chandler exemplified the highest standards of moral character, commitment to family values and dedication to athletic excellence.
As such, the Foundation's purpose is to:
  • Encourage and support athletic talent and scholarship in young people
  • Cultivate the development of character through athletic discipline
  • Provide funds for cancer research and support for people affected by cancer
We are committed to achieving these goals in memory of Bob Chandler. Bob inspired others to strive for excellence and perseverance, not only in athletic endeavors but in all life pursuits, including his battle with cancer. The Bob Chandler Foundaiton supports the ongoing search for solutions.
"Bob Chandler's life was truly inspirational on and off the football field. And now Bob's spirit, values, and ideals live on through the work of the Bob Chandler Foundation. I encourage anyone who admires the values of citizenship, leadership, and compassion to help the foundation fulfill its dual goals - making dreams come true for student-athletes and giving hope to courageous young men and women in the fight for their lives." Jack Kemp, Former Congressman
